  3. Direct Syscalls: Instead of relying on Windows API functions, attackers implement syscall stubs themselves, calling kernel services directly and bypassing the monitoring hooks of EDR solutions.

  • It then injects shellcode into legitimate Windows processes using direct syscalls, avoiding detection.
