What is the "Claim 3D NFT" Crypto Drainer?

The "Claim 3D NFT" crypto drainer is a phishing scam masquerading as a legitimate NFT marketplace. It promises users access to unique 3D NFTs but instead siphons digital assets from connected wallets. This scheme is not affiliated with any genuine NFT platforms or projects.

Researchers identified the scam promoted on domains like nft-claim.pages[.]dev, though it may also exist on other URLs. These fraudulent websites employ various distribution methods, including compromised sites, spam on social media, rogue pop-ups, and potentially unwanted applications.

How Does the Scam Work?

Victims are lured into the scam via promises of authentic 3D NFTs. Once they connect their cryptocurrency wallets to the fraudulent site, they unknowingly authorize a malicious contract. This action enables the drainer to transfer funds and digital assets from the victim's wallet to the scammer’s accounts.

The theft process is automated and may remain unnoticed for some time. Additionally, the transactions are irreversible, making recovery of stolen assets nearly impossible.
